Fielding Residencies run in April and October/November each year. A Fielding Week with us will give you valuable space and time to work, as well as some intensive mentoring support and the company of other writers. It can help you get past a block or make progress with a specific aspect of your writing.
We recommend a stay of two weeks if at all possible. Time and time again our one-week residents wish they could have stayed longer, and our two-week residents express relief they did so.
If you have a larger project, a longer stay is essential as this enables you to settle into your surroundings and take full advantage of all the support that is on offer. There is time to explore new directions and bring a piece of work to a close.
